Beaded items are made of glass beads hand-sewn together using a needle and thread. Whilst pieces are generally hardwearing and will not unravel during normal wear, please take care not to snag items in such a way that could cut or snap the threads, or expose them to situations that could crush the beads. To keep items in their best condition, don't expose them to water which could cause loss of colour for some bead types/coatings or cause the threads to relax.

Clay items are made from polymer clay, often with various different coatings or inclusions. Clay is hardwearing and the items are generally waterproof, but they should not be exposed to prolonged extremes of temperature, direct sunlight or frequent immersion in water. To keep items in their best condition, do not sleep or wash in them or store them in direct sunlight.
